WHAT WE DO
Improv North teach long-form comedy improv classes in Manchester.
Our classes are principally based in the techniques and principles of Chicago Style Long-Form improv; the same style that trained legends like Tina Fey, Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler, Steve Carell and many, many more.

We focus on creating theatrical scenes over the more traditional improv games that you might know from Whose Line Is It Anyway? - instead, we equip our students with the skills they need to improvise scenes that can stand alone or expand into whole shows.

OUR CLASSES
Our Level One: Improv Fundamentals class is a robust introduction into the principles of improvisation and what it means to 'Yes, and'. We focus on building confidence, active listening and having fun. By the end of this course you will be making up scenes from a single word.
Our next Level One class starts on 30th September 2024. Click here for more details.

We also run 2 hr Taster Sessions for those who are interested but want to give a it try before jumping into a full course. Click here for more details.
