Service Description
So you've got the basics under your belt and now you want to take your long-form skills to the next level! Building on the principles from Level One and extending into longer scenic structures and techniques to get the best out of your stage time. Level Two’s learning objectives include: - Building on Level One’s scenework, active listening, “Game of the Scene” and character work. - Three distinct and versatile tools for getting “out of your head” in scenes. - An introduction to editing scenes using tags and sweeps. - Monologues as show openings. - Classic show format, The Commando. - and everything you need to set you up for The Harold in our Level Three class. Class is limited to 14 spaces, with priority given to continuing students. This course is intended for graduates of our Level One class, we allow experienced improvisers to join pending an audition. If you would like to start in Level Two, please contact us with details of your improv experience and we’ll be in touch to talk about the next opportuinty for an audition. If you have not completed a Level One class with us, please contact us prior to booking. Had a gap since Level One? Don't worry! We'll be recapping the basics so just jump on back in. Classes will run for 8 weeks, at the Northern Monk Refectory, Tariff Street, Manchester. Note: There is no performance at the end of this course.
