Service Description
So you've got the basics under your belt and now you want to take your long-form skills to the next level! Building on the principles from Level One and extending into longer scenic structures and techniques to get the best out of your stage time. Level Two’s learning objectives include: Building on Level One’s scenework, active listening, “Game of the Scene” and character work. Three distinct processes for getting “out of your head” in scenes. An introduction to editing scenes using tags and sweeps. Monologues as show openings. Classic Long-Form show, The Commando. Everything you need to set you up for The Harold in Level Three. This course is intended for graduates of our Level One class, we allow experienced improvisers to join pending an audition - if you would like to join us for Level Two, please contact us with details of your improv experience and we’ll let you know when our next audition is - If you have not completed a Level One class with us, please contact us prior to booking. Class is limited to 12 spaces, with priority given to continuing students. Class will start at 6:30pm on Tuesday 18th March and run for 8 weeks, at the Northern Monk Refectory on Tariff Street in the Northern Quarter. Note: There is NO performance at the end of this course.
